Peter Bowman Towing Centre



We are a family run business with a passion for providing quality customer service.
Peter Bowman set up this Towing Centre in 1979 on the current site at Mason Street in Bury Lancashire. Along with his father Stan, they built the business supplying and fitting towbars and gradually took on other areas like caravan and trailer servicing and roof boxes and motor home servicing. Over the years Peter has developed his range of services always with the aim of giving the best service to customers and gaining the best reputation for the quality of work.  In January 2016 the business was taken over by Brian and Julia Glover after Peter decided to retire to a gentler lifestyle. Brian has 40 years experience working in the automotive, towing and leisure industry and together with our experienced mechanics and service staff we plan to continue to provide the service people have come to expect and expand the goods and services we offer both through our new shop at Mason Street and our website.
