Insurance-approved hitchlock that completely covers the hitch head and bolts.
The Fortress K hitchlock is compatible with Albe cast heads, Knott braked pressed heads, Knott unbraked pressed heads, and Winterhoff WW8, WW13, and WW30 cast hitches. For unbraked trailers, the total height from the top to the bottom of the fixing bolt must not exceed 73mm due to the hitch's mounting on the drawbar. If necessary, bolts can be trimmed down to fit.
This hitchlock is suitable for some Ifor Williams trailers and other unbraked trailers, provided the maximum height, including bolts and drawbar, is 73mm. Ensure a couple of threads are exposed from the nut when trimming.
The hitchlock can be used when hitched or unhitched to prevent separation of your car and trailer in parking lots or motorway service stations.
