Kampa Dometic Repair Solution CA9011

Kampa Repair Solution will adhere to almost any surface for fast, strong and extremely durable repairs to thousands of items. Ideal for sealing and repairing holes and rips in tents, awnings and other inflatable products.

  • Permanently repairs repairs holes and rips in most materials
  • Can be used as a seam sealant
Instructions for use

Clean the area to be repaired with soap and water. De-grease the surface with alcohol. Apply Repair Solution directly to the area to be repaired allowing a 6mm overlap beyond the rip or hole. Keep the repair flat and allow to cure. Kampa Repair Solution is touch dry in 2-4 hours. Allow 10-12 hours for full cure. Use several layers of repair solution for extra strength. Tears and rips: apply an adhesive tape over the front of the tear or hole. Apply the repair solution to the reverse side and allow at least a 6mm overlap beyond the rip or hole. The tape can then be removed.

Seams: Use a small brush to apply a thin layer of repair solution to the seam making sure that you work the solution into the sewing holes. Dust with talcum powder when cured for a non-tacky finish.

Storage: Squeeze remaining contents to the top of the tube. Replace cap ensuring there is no air in the top of the tube or cap. Partially used tubes are best stored in the freezer. Warm to room temperature before use. Kampa Repair Solution is sensitive to moisture.
FAQ Answer
For AirFrame system awnings you can remove an AirPole when the awning is inflated or deflated but if it’s inflated the isolation valves around the AirPole must be closed.
  1. Unzip the outer sleeve holding the AirPole.
  2. Undo the compression fittings on the affected side of the isolation valve. There may be multiple valves per AirPole. You should now be able to remove the AirPole.NEVER OPEN THE ZIP ON A PROTECTIVE SLEEVE WHILST AN AIRPOLE INFLATED.
  3. Unzip the protective sleeve of the AirPole to expose the bladder (inner tube).
  4. Locate the puncture. This is made easier if you blow some air into the tube. For small holes it may be necessary to submerge the bladder in water.
  5. Once the puncture has been located the bladder can be repaired using repair tape.
  • We recommend product CA9001 - Kampa Awning & Tent Repair Tape.
  • The repair can be enhanced by using a combination of the above and product CA9011 - Kampa Repair Solution, which is a flexible adhesive (repair tape and repair solution are available together in kit form). Follow the manufacturer instructions to repair
  • Another alternative is to replace the tube. Spares are available from your dealer or direct from Kampa.
  1. Reassemble the AirPole, zip back into the sleeve and reconnect the hoses to the isolation valves.
