Making A Purchase 
We aim to give you a quick and efficient purchasing experience. Our range of goods and services are listed to help you select your items and take you through to payment in just a few easy steps. We accept the following methods of payment:

By credit or debit card either Visa, MasterCard, Maestro (Switch), Electron, Delta.
Please note we cannot be responsible for any losses you may incur in transmitting information to us by internet link or by email. Any such loss shall be entirely your responsibility. By using a credit/debit card to pay for your purchase, you confirm that the card being used is yours or that you are authorised to use it.

By cheque, in the checkout select 'Place order & forward cheque by post'  then click next and print the order so you can use it to forward to us with your cheque made payable to Peter Bowman Towing Centre Ltd. To allow your cheque to clear, delivery may take up to 10 days from receipt of cheque. All prices include VAT.

Payment for items purchased via our eBay shop must be made within 5 working days of the initial order. Accepted payment methods can be found in both our eBay item listing and payment page on our website. Peter Bowman Towing Centre Ltd reserves the right to notify eBay of any unpaid items via any appropriate method - including the feedback system and the Non Payer system. 
Payments must be made in full before any goods are shipped. If payment is withdrawn Peter Bowman Towing Centre will seek to recover the goods at full cost recovery plus interest charged at 10%.

* Please note that whilst, in most instances, Express Deliveries will normally arrive the following working day, this cannot always be 100% guaranteed. As with all carriers, very occasionally, delays may occur for logistical and other reasons beyond their control. In such cases the goods would normally arrive the next working day. We cannot be held responsible for any delivery delays arising from matters occurring outside our control.

Delivery Schedule 
 
Orders received on our towing.co.uk web site prior to 4 pm Monday to Friday are normally despatched the same day via our carrier UK Mail. Orders placed during evenings and over weekends and public holidays are normally despatched the following working day.
 
U K Delivery Information
It is important that the delivery details given are accurate to avoid the carrier being unsuccessful in attempting delivery. 
 
If delivery has not been accepted after the 1st attempt - In order to re-attempt a further delivery will incur an additional charge. Delivery instructions can be added to the assist delivery. It is advisable to make these as clear and precise as possible. It is important to give an “all hours” phone number in case the carrier needs to make contact with you before or at time of the delivery. 
 
Should the goods not be accepted by the customer upon delivery, and our carrier is used to return the item(s), then a minimum return delivery charge of £15.00 will apply.
 
Missing, Incomplete or Damaged Products
If an order is for a large item or several components, it is possible that the order will have been sent in more than one package as a multiple consignment. The number of parcels sent is marked on the delivery label eg. 1 of 2 & 2 of 2 etc. Please check all goods carefully upon delivery. If you feel any part of the order is missing or damaged, please contact us as soon as possible within 24 hours, either by telephone or email, so that we can check the status with the carrier. 
 
Items are checked over by us prior to despatch and then securely packaged for delivery. If on receipt the packaging appears to have been damaged in transit, you must sign the carrier's delivery note as "Parcel(s) received damaged". If you cannot check the condition of the goods, please do not sign for the delivery! If you sign for the delivery, you are accepting responsibility for it! We advise inspecting the goods whilst the delivery driver is present. If you open the package and find something has been damaged, please either telephone us on 01732 884408 or email us at sales@roofracks.co.uk as soon as possible within 24 hours of receipt of the goods. This is necessary to comply with the very short time frame and conditions that all third party carriers allow for claims to be made. We will then liaise with both the customer and the carrier and arrange for any damaged goods to be picked up and swapped over. In such instances all packaging materials must be retained in case the carrier wishes to inspect the 
packaging and goods in validation of a claim. 
 
Back Orders 
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
 
Tax Charges 
We only accept orders from the UK. For orders made from the UK, 20% VAT is included.
 
Guarantee 
We guarantee your satisfaction. All of our products come with a 30 day no quibble guarantee.
Complaints or non-receipt of goods must be reported to us in writing within 10 working days of order date. 
Any reference to manufacturer’s names or products is for identification purposes only. Parts supplied are not necessarily manufactured by the original manufacturer.

Returns & Refunds Policy 

INCORRECTLY ORDERED/UNWANTED GOODS
 
Unused goods, in new condition, supplied within 7 working days after the date of delivery can be returned at the customers expense* for a full refund or exchange. If the reason for return is that the goods are either defective or incorrectly supplied, we will arrange for the goods to be collected/swapped over at our expense, or if agreed with ourselves in advance, for smaller items we will refund the standard rate return postage. Items returned after seven days may be subject to a 30% handling/restocking charge.
 
Before any goods can be returned you must notify us within 7 working days after the day of receipt of goods by letter or email.
 
Any goods cancelled under the Distant Selling Regulations must be returned to us before a refund can be made. 
 
Unless the goods supplied were either defective or incorrectly supplied, the outward carriage charge will not be refunded and any costs associated with return carriage will be deducted. If the goods returned are not received by us in (a) their original packaged condition, (b) damaged, (c) misused, (d) show obvious signs of use or with (e) parts missing, we reserve the right to contact you and make an appropriate deduction off the original purchase price. 
 
Items returned must be packaged in their original packaging. They must also be packaged securely in a similar way to how they were sent in order to avoid damage in transit. If the goods arrive with us in a damaged state due to the customer not taking reasonable care to ensure the goods were securely packaged it will be deemed to be the responsibility of the customer. Returned items must include an original receipt to enable a refund to be made. 
 
Returned special order items are subject to a 30% handling/re stocking charge. 
 
* Please be aware that the cost of arranging collection of items by our carriers can be more than the original cost of delivery. If goods were received as one package they must also be returned as one package. 
 
Your consumer statuary rights are not effected by the contents of this page. 
 
Orders from this web site are protected by the Distance Selling Regulations, which allow you to cancel the purchase within 7 working days after the day you receive the goods.

No credit card/Payment details are ever taken on the website, once you have completed the order and clicked place order you will be redirected to a secure checkout page that is hosted by our payment provider. Nobody in Peter Bowman Towing centre ever has access to your card details. We are only ever supplied with the type of card that you placed your purchase with, and the last 4 digits of your credit card
